Hi! Let me tell you a little bit about my author journey and myself.

I'm Nikki and I love everything reading-and-writing-related. I am obsessed with creating romantic, fun stories that may or may not keep you up reading late into the night.
​
My passion for writing grew from my rocky relationship with reading. Back when I was learning to read, I absolutely despised it. I would argue with my mom and she would have to bribe me to even look at a book. But, overnight, according to my mom, I just started reading chapter books, despite the rest of my family thinking that I was illiterate. The first book I remember truly loving was Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief. It sucked me in, and the rest is history.
Nowadays, I can always be found with my nose in a book, highlighter and sticky notes close by. I'm all about everything from contemporary to sci-fi to fantasy, but always appreciate a healthy dose of romance in everything.

Over the last few years, I’ve felt fiction tugging at my heartstrings and during quarantine, I couldn’t ignore it. I’ve been seriously working on original fiction since summer 2020 and I’ve been loving it!
​
I decided to post my first draft as I go on Wattpad to incorporate feedback and have fun connecting with other readers, like me!
​
My first novel, Just Press Send, follows a freshman college student who drunkenly texts her boyfriend pro/con list to each of her five crushes and she finds her average year turned upside down as she navigates the world of first love.
To date, I've never made pro/con lists about my crushes, but I have sent many a drunk text. If you want to know more about my works in progress, you can check out my books page.

When I’m not writing, you can find me spending time with my family and friends (and crafting too).
